Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Operate standard passenger vehicles safely for client transportation to appointments or community activities Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, memory care, and behavioral management strategies Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation to maintain a safe and comfortable environment Use manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts to ensure safe patient transfers and prevent injury Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and address concerns promptly Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, and cognitive disabilities enhances your ability to provide specialized support Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or geriatrics is advantageous Strong communication skills to foster trust and clarity with clients and team members Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities; clean driving record preferred Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to caregiving ensures excellent client support Embark on a fulfilling career where your dedication directly impacts the well-being of others.
