13 Weeks Contract (Possible Extension) Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medication Technician (aide) / Certified Med Aide to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for administering medications accurately, monitoring residents' health status, and providing essential personal care support within a senior living or healthcare facility. Local CT staff preferred. CT Med Aide required. This is a group home setting (residential) with 24 hour care for 6-8 individuals with intellectual disabilities.Day, Eve, or Night Shift Available:
5-8's plus every other weekendWeekend Position Available :
3-12's (FRI, SAT, SUN) Requirements Valid certification as a Medication Technician (aide) or Certified Med Aide recognized by the State Board of Nursing. Proven experience working with geriatric patients in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and basic life support (BLS), including CPR certification. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Epic or Cerner; experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while maintaining resident comfort and safety.Pay:
$29.00- $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): Which shift you are more interested
