Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, a Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will help clients maintain their independence and dignity while ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and preferences Monitor and remind clients to take medications (no medication administration unless certified) Accompany clients to appointments and outings, as needed Provide companionship and emotional support Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up Communicate clearly in Spanish with the client and family members Maintain records of care and report any changes in health or behavior
Requirements:
Bilingual Spanish a plus; English proficiency preferred Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or personal care assistant (preferred) CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain) Ability to lift, transfer, and assist with mobility Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if transportation is needed) Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills Must pass a background check and provide references
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities Familiarity with common conditions like dementia, diabetes, or mobility impairments Spanish bilingual speaking a plus Car is a plus
Job Types:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
