Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to a 13 years old girl in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our daughter, ensuring she receives the care and attention necessary to thrive in their home or community settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, a strong understanding of children, and a commitment to promoting independence and dignity. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the client's living space through light housekeeping tasks. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events. Qualifications Experience of working with children with special needs is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Experience working with diverse populations, individuals with disabilities, autism, or memory care needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
