Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to clients in their daily lives. The ideal candidate will assist with personal care, mobility, and safety, ensuring a respectful and comfortable environment. This role requires a responsible individual with experience in repositioning clients safely and familiarity with transfer belt techniques. A valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are preferred, although client transportation is not part of the duties. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Safely reposition clients to prevent discomfort or injury, utilizing proper techniques. Use transfer belts effectively to aid in transferring clients between beds, chairs, or other surfaces. Support clients with mobility challenges by providing stability and encouragement during movement. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times. Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to relevant healthcare professionals. Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare providers or family members. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices for client handling. Experience Prior experience working as a caregiver or personal care assistant is preferred. Knowledge of transfer belt techniques and safe repositioning methods is required. Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are advantageous (client transportation is not required). Ability to handle physically demanding tasks with patience and professionalism. Strong communication skills and compassionate attitude towards clients.

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
