Part-time About the Position We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide approximately 14 hours of weekly support to an individual living in South Windsor. The primary responsibility will be providing transportation to and from his day program, traveling between South Windsor and Newington, CT. Responsibilities Provide safe and reliable transportation to and from the individual's day program Drive from South Windsor to Newington and back to South Windsor Provide occasional support with grocery shopping and community activities Assist and teach the individual how to independently navigate grocery shopping and other everyday community activities Provide patient, respectful, and person-centered support Maintain a safe and positive environment Qualifications Reliable and dependable Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Clean driving record Comfortable providing transportation to and from Newington Patient, respectful, and comfortable working one-on-one with an individual Previous DSP, caregiver, behavioral health, or human services experience is a plus, but not necessarily required Male or female candidates are welcome to apply.
