Direct Support Professional Hiring:

Immediate Opening Nanicares LLC is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and dependable Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide support and companion services to an individual with developmental disabilities in the Belleview, Florida 34420 area. This position includes providing assistance in the client's home as well as supporting the client with activities in the community. The ideal candidate is patient, responsible, comfortable promoting independence, and able to provide consistent and respectful support. Reliable personal transportation is required for this position because transporting and accompanying the client in the community is an essential job responsibility.

Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Provide companionship, supervision, and general support Assist with daily routines and activities of daily living as authorized by the client's support plan Encourage independence and development of daily living skills Accompany and transport the client to approved community activities Assist with outings such as grocery shopping, banking, restaurants, movies, recreational activities, and other community-based activities Provide transportation to approved appointments or activities as needed Assist with meal preparation and household routines related to the client's care Provide reminders and appropriate prompting based on the client's support plan Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment Complete required service documentation and daily notes accurately and on time Communicate appropriately with Nanicares management and other authorized members of the client's support team Follow all Nanicares policies, procedures, training requirements, and the individual's authorized support plan Requirements Must be dependable and punctual Must have reliable personal transportation Must possess a valid driver's license Must maintain automobile insurance as required for the position Must be comfortable transporting a client in your personal vehicle Must be able to successfully complete all required background screening Must meet applicable training and employment requirements for the position Must be able to maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality Must be patient, respectful, and comfortable working with individuals with developmental disabilities Must be able to reliably report for scheduled shifts in the Belleview, FL 34420 area Previous experience as a caregiver, Direct Support Professional (DSP), companion, personal support worker, home health aide, CNA, or in developmental disability services is preferred. Relevant experience is helpful, but candidates who meet the position requirements and demonstrate the appropriate reliability and commitment are encouraged to apply.
