We are looking for caregivers who are patient, responsible, respectful, and genuinely committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the individuals and families we serve. Position Responsibilities Responsibilities may vary depending on the client's authorized services, individual needs, and plan of care or support plan.
Duties may include:
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), as authorized and within the caregiver's scope of practice. Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal care needs when required. Provide companionship, supervision, and safety monitoring. Support clients in maintaining independence and participating in daily routines and community activities. Provide homemaking and light housekeeping services, including meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment, as assigned. Assist with errands and other approved instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs). Follow the client's established plan of care, support plan, service authorization, and agency instructions. Complete required visit documentation and accurately record services provided. Follow all Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and agency clock-in and clock-out requirements when applicable. Promptly report changes in the client's condition, behavior, safety, or needs to the appropriate agency representative. Immediately report accidents, incidents, suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other unusual occurrences according to agency policies. Maintain professional boundaries and protect client privacy and confidentiality. Follow HIPAA requirements and all applicable agency policies and procedures. Attend required training, orientation, meetings, and continuing education. Maintain all required credentials, certifications, and documentation in current status. Accept only assignments for which the caregiver has the appropriate qualifications, competency, and training. Perform additional client-support duties as assigned and permitted within the caregiver's role and scope of services. Qualifications & Requirements Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate or other qualifying caregiver credential, as required for the assigned position. Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Current HIV, CPR and First Aid certification, as required for the position. Successful completion of all applicable background screening requirements. Ability to provide required employment and credentialing documentation. Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned client locations. Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining scheduled shifts. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and agency staff. Compassionate and respectful attitude toward older adults and individuals with disabilities or other support needs. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately document services provided. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
