We Are Looking for a Mature, Responsible Female We are seeking a mature, dependable, compassionate, and responsible female Direct Care Professional to provide support to a young lady in a live-in setting . The ideal candidate should genuinely enjoy helping others, be patient, trustworthy, dependable, and comfortable providing assistance with daily routines and community activities.
Job Responsibilities Include:
Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Supporting daily living and independent living skills Assisting with personal care and household routines as needed Preparing and participating in daily activities Accompanying the individual on community outings Supporting appointments, shopping, recreational activities, and other community activities Encouraging independence and appropriate decision-making Providing companionship and supervision Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment Following the individual's care plan and support needs Documenting services and activities as required Schedule This is a

. Staff will reside in the home while providing services. The individual participates in community activities during the day. Staff are off every other weekend. This position requires someone who is comfortable with the responsibilities and commitment of a live-in case. The position is fully paid and requires a proactive approach to fostering independence and well-being among those served. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support using manual handling techniques and patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor patients' vital signs, observe changes in health status, and report findings accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality. Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary plans, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards are maintained. Support residents with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care, by implementing personalized care plans and utilizing specialized techniques for patient safety. Administer medications following prescribed protocols, document medication administration accurately, and manage medication schedules. Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments or community outings, ensuring safety during transfers and travel. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control procedures in compliance with health regulations. Engage with residents through effective communication, fostering trust and promoting social interaction within the community setting. Experience Candidates should have prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, or intellectual disabilities is highly valued. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, hospice care, geriatrics, and long-term care settings is preferred. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in patient monitoring, first aid and CPR certification, medication administration, and emergency response procedures such as first aid protocols. Prior exposure to HIPAA compliance ensures confidentiality of sensitive information. Experience operating medical equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer devices is advantageous. Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent client communication are essential for success in this role.
