Career Growth:
We offer paid training to enable you to pass the Home Health Aide knowledge and skills competency tests, including shadowing experienced Home Health Aides and CNAs. For our experienced Home Health Aides with proven reliability, we offer additional training and opportunities for pay raises with the following training completions:
Memory Care Specialist Disability Care Specialist End of Life Care Specialist Responsibilities:
As a Home Health Aide, you will have some of the following responsibilities: Bringing life-energizing care to a vulnerable population Helping people stay in their own homes safely and successfully Personal Care, including help with showering, incontinence, toileting, hygiene, feeding, dressing, skin and nail care, and more Mobility Care, fall prevention, transfer assistance, mobility device assistance, exercise assistance, and more
Memory Care:
Alzheimer's and other dementia care, brain fitness activities, sensory stimulation, behavior reduction, and safety supervision Companionship and Light Housekeeping duties, which may include pet care
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. Driver's License with reliable transportation. We work in people's homes all around Manatee County. You must be able to reliably work anywhere in the county on time. High School Diploma Passion for helping seniors CPR Certification. If you don't have it, we will get you CPR Certified as part of your training.
