As a dedicated caregiver, you will deliver essential support in a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment while developing valuable skills in patient care and community support. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and report any concerns to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining proper food safety standards. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment. Utilize specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer clients with mobility challenges. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that address specific needs related to dementia, Alzheimer's or other developmental disabilities. Provide emotional support and companionship to foster social engagement and mental well-being. Requirements Kind, patient and committed to high-quality care. Open availability for flexible scheduling, but willingness to commit to an ongoing schedule. Willingness to travel throughout Bradenton and Sarasota counties Experience with personal care preferred CPR/First Aide, driver's license, car insurance, vehicle registration and background checks required. Reliable transportation Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including individulas with disabilities or developmental challenges is highly valued.

Pay:

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
