Full Job Description Job Title:

Direct Support Professional Night shift 12 hours (8pm-8am) every other weekend, (10 hours 10p-8am on non-weekend days. Rotating shifts

Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Implement behavior management systems to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
• Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress
• Advocate for resident rights and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
• Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
• Ability to lift and transfer individuals using proper lifting techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Must be available every other weekend 12 hour shifts.
