Duties Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to maintain hygiene and dignity Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining accurate medical documentation Aid in mobility and patient transfer methods utilizing equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer techniques to ensure safety for both patient and caregiver Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, including memory care strategies and behavioral management Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to create a safe and comfortable environment Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home healthcare agencies is highly preferred Hands-on experience working with geriatric patients or individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized attention Certification in CPR or BLS is required; additional training in dementia care is a plus Proven ability to work independently while maintaining excellent client communication skills and respecting patient confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines Experience performing heavy lifting or using assistive devices like Hoyer lifts safely within a home health setting Join us in delivering compassionate home health care that transforms lives!
