A Home Health Aide helps individuals who are disabled, elderly, or chronically ill with daily tasks, such as dressing, washing, and light housekeeping. They can care for patients in their homes or other healthcare settings, and may perform basic medical care under the direction of a nurse or other medical professional. Pay Rate:
$13 per hour
Schedule:
2-3 hours per shift weekly (day to be finalized)
Qualifications:
CPR/BLS and First Aid Certification (Required) High School Diploma or GED (Required) Minimum of 1 year of full-time professional experience in a healthcare setting (3-5 years preferred) Home healthcare experience strongly preferred Strong verbal and written English communication skills Completion of at least 8 hours of annual personal care-related training Ability to work independently while following care plans and supervision Experience with housekeeping or domestic duties is a plus Physically able to assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support Patient, calm, compassionate, and professional under pressure Willing to perform personal care and household tasks as needed Reliable, punctual, and dependable Dedicated to preserving each client's dignity, independence, and respect Willing to comply with all agency policies and legal requirements
