Part-Time Job Summary Providence Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and responsible Home Caregiver to provide quality in-home care and support to clients in Douglasville, GA. The caregiver will assist clients with daily activities while promoting their safety, dignity, independence, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene. Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping. Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction. Assist with mobility, transfers, walking, and positioning as needed. Provide medication reminders as directed by the client's care plan. Assist with errands and other approved client needs. Monitor and report changes in the client's condition or behavior. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the client. Complete required documentation after every shift. Clock in and out accurately for each scheduled shift. Follow the client's individualized care plan and all Providence Care policies and procedures. Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and office staff. Maintain client confidentiality and respect each client's privacy and dignity. Qualifications Previous caregiving experience preferred. CNA, PCA, or HCA experience/certification preferred, depending on the position. Must pass required background screening. Current TB documentation required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required based on the assignment. Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification required. Dependable, punctual, compassionate, and trustworthy. Ability to communicate effectively and work independently. Must be willing to follow the client's care plan and complete all required documentation. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and assist clients with mobility. Ability to perform duties that may require lifting or transferring clients according to the client's care plan and appropriate safety procedures. Why Join Providence Care? $12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
