Job Description

Overview Summer Willow Personal Care Home, is looking to hire a caring and compassionate Caregiver -Personal Care Assistant, where your dedication and empathy will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and personal care. This vital role offers an opportunity to provide exceptional care in our Personal Care Home. Only apply if you are passionate about helping others, hard working and have a caring disposition. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and independence Support medication administration following proper protocols and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing housekeeping tasks, including cleaning personal spaces and common areas. Help with residents laundry and cleaning assigned residents' rooms Document care plans, patient progress, and any incidents thoroughly to ensure continuity of quality care Requirements Prior experience working in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes would be preferred. Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and HIPAA compliance are required or highly desirable Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks when assisting residents with mobility or transfers Strong communication skills Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those in your care Honest, reliable and trustworthy character that is happy to help and serve the elderly.
