Optimae LifeServices in Dubuque area is looking for part time (with opportunity of full time) Direct Support Professional Staff working 1:1 in the community and our customer's homes. Duties:

Utilize our customer's individualized service plans to teach daily living skills. Support our customer's in their living, social and learning environments. Support our customers to achieve the personal goals of their choice. Assist customers with managing and following through with appointments. Complete individual service documentation following Optimae's policy and procedure. Participate in team meetings, trainings and personalized monthly coaching. Follow a customer specific behavioral plan. Communicate with team members. We are looking for self-directed individuals with characteristics of compassion, respect, and problem solving skills. Flexible scheduling and no experience necessary, we will train.

Qualifications:

Be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent, preferred Licensed driver with a dependable vehicle and automobile insurance Background check required which includes Child and Dependent Adult Abuse and driving record check
