Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide exceptional care and assistance to individuals experiencing a mental health crisis. Responsibilities Observing patient conditions, and reporting changes to healthcare teams promptly. Support medication administration in accordance with care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties, organizing personal spaces, and adhering to infection control protocols. Document care accurately in resident records and communicate effectively with team members about resident progress. Provide transportation assistance for appointments or community outings while ensuring safety during patient transfers using appropriate techniques. Requirements High school deploma with 2 years experience working with mental health or behavioral health. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration; patience and empathy are essential qualities.
