What You'll Do Depending upon the needs of the individuals you support, responsibilities may include: Supporting independence with activities of daily living Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting when needed Assisting with medications after completing required training Supporting individuals with behavioral and emotional needs Helping with meal planning, shopping, and meal preparation Supporting community activities, appointments, recreation, and relationships Providing transportation when required by the position Maintaining a safe, respectful, and comfortable home environment Completing accurate daily documentation of services, goals, and routines Following individualized service plans and established health and safety procedures We'll Help You Get Started Ambitions of Idaho provides on-the-job training and will assist new employees with obtaining required certifications, including: CPR/First Aid Assistance with Medications Position-specific training needed to successfully support the individuals you work with What We're Looking For Applicants must: Be able to successfully complete the required background check Have a valid driver's license when driving is required for the position Have reliable transportation to and from scheduled shifts Meet automobile insurance requirements when applicable to job duties Be able to complete required training and documentation Demonstrate dependable attendance and professional conduct Work With Purpose The people we support deserve employees who are reliable, respectful, and genuinely invested in helping them succeed.
