In this important role, you'll provide one-on-one support and observation for patients who need additional assistance to ensure their safety, comfort, and well-being. As a Patient Sitter, you'll play a vital role in the patient care experience by offering companionship, maintaining a safe environment, and serving as an extra layer of support for both patients and the healthcare team. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping others and are interested in gaining valuable healthcare experience.

What you will do:

Provide continuous observation and support for patients requiring close monitoring. Help maintain a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. Report changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to nursing staff. Preserve patient dignity, privacy, and respect at all times. Work closely with nurses and healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications:

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience
• Previous healthcare experience is welcomed but not required. We are willing to train compassionate, dependable individuals who are eager to learn. Certification
• Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred.
