Innovations In Learning, is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team! No over-nights, no weekends and Paid Holidays! We do not have seasonal positions available.

POSITION TITLE

Direct Support Professional

DEPARTMENT

Day Services HOURS :

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

LOCATION

Merrillville, IN The Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing direct services to individuals with Autism and/or Intellectual Disabilities who attend the Adult Day Services Program, using principles of Behavior Analysis.

Responsibilities include:

Teach skills in individual and group settings Follow all schedules and lesson plans Provide personal care to individuals Implement Behavior Support Plans Implement Person Centered Individual Support Plans Implement High Risk Protocols Medication Administration, as necessary Complete agency documentation Physically assist individuals, as necessary Participate in agency trainings Participate in supervision and agency meetings as scheduled Other responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

• 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clear Criminal Background Check -TB test required
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
