Job Summary:

The Student Health Care Worker will assist in physician practice offices across the system to observe, learn, and gain experience in the health care field. The Student may assist with clerical duties, aid with creating reports or presentation materials, help with assigned projects or quality statistics/measures, track and record incoming faxes or scans, and/or perform other related tasks as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements:

High School graduate or GED equivalent required Some college courses preferred Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs Excellent attitude, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities are necessary to interact with patients, staff, and providers Ability to hand multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Must be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation Solid organization skills, detail oriented
