Caregivers with Flexible Availability Egan At Home established in 1988 is seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support clients throughout the Greater New Orleans area. We are looking for caregivers with flexible availability who can work a variety of shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Caregiver Responsibilities Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Provide toileting and incontinence assistance Assist with walking, transfers, and fall-prevention measures Prepare meals and encourage proper hydration Provide medication reminders Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes Offer companionship, protective oversight, and routine support Assist with errands and transportation when authorized Follow each client's individualized care plan Document completed services and promptly report changes or concerns Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and office staff Qualifications Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional 1 year prior experience required in professional caregiving, personal-care, senior-care, home-care, or healthcare experience preferred Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and personal-care needs Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Ability to pass all required background checks and screenings Willingness to follow company policies, care plans, and professional boundaries Flexible availability is strongly preferred, you tell us what you can work.
