As a Home Health Aide & Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in their homes. Your dedication will help enhance the quality of life for seniors and those with disabilities, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Join our dynamic team and be part of a rewarding experience that truly matters! What you'll do Ensure the safety and wellbeing of an individual with Lewy Body Dementia. Assist client with minimal Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) preparation to promote independence and dignity. Monitor and document vital signs, medication administration, and changes in patient conditions using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems. Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other developmental disabilities to ensure their safety and comfort. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Basic qualifications Experience working with Lewy Body Dementia and sundowning, refocusing and redirecting. Certification as a Home Health Aide or equivalent training in caregiving practices. Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and best practices in patient care. Preferred qualifications Experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable. Familiarity with hospice care principles and long-term care experience is a plus.
