OVERNIGHT WORKERS
—FINISHING A SHIFT, NEED TIME TO RESET BEFORE THE AFTERNOON

Westfield, Monday-Friday, 30hrs 12:30PM-6:30 PM Holyoke, Springfield 40hrs 10:30 AM-6:30PM Pay:
$20.00/hr Reasons to Join Arbor The schedule gives you time to get yourself right first — if you're finishing an overnight shift around 7 or 8 AM, the 10:30 AM or 12:30 PM start means you have a real window to decompress, eat, and reset before your next commitment. $20.00/hr in purposeful afternoon work — not a second overnight, not another exhausting shift in a high-volume setting. Community-based, person-centered, and done by 6:30 PM every day. Meaningful work that doesn't feel like more of the same — you'll co-lead therapeutic activities and community outings with the people you support. If your overnight is high-volume and reactive, your afternoon here is structured and relationship-focused. Medical, dental, vision, STD/LTD/AD&D, and sick time available for qualifying employees. W-2 employment with Arbor from day one — stable paycheck, real employer, no 1099 complexity stacked on top of what you're already managing. CPI training provided by the program — arrive ready, they take care of the certification pathway. DSP | HHA | CNA | Caregiver | PCA — overnight healthcare, direct care, or residential experience? You already have the foundation this role is built on. Responsibilities Plan and co-lead therapeutic activities and community trips with the individuals you support. Provide 1:1 and group direct support — personal hygiene, ADL assistance, meal prep, mobility, and daily living skills. Complete daily logs and required documentation using program software — basic computer proficiency required. Transport and accompany participants to community activities and appointments (valid driver's license and reliable transportation required). Monitor health and behavior, document observations accurately, and communicate updates to program staff and families at shift end. Foster a respectful, inclusive, person-centered environment in every interaction. Follow safety protocols, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to a structured, therapeutic setting. Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Personal or professional caregiving experience preferred; 6+ months in human services a plus Comfortable supporting adults with behavioral needs and providing hands-on personal hygiene and ADL care Basic computer proficiency required for daily logs and required documentation Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation required Must pass EEC background clearance Certifications CPR/FA certification (required) CPI certification a plus — program will provide training MAP, Safety Care, and restraint training as required by assignment Physical Requirements Ability to lift at least 50 lbs Prolonged standing; bending, kneeling, crouching as needed Community-based and outdoor activity involvement Arbor Associates serves Southern New England, including Greater Boston, Central and Western Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
