Job ProfileAre you looking to work a shorter work week and gain some extra day time hours for your personal endeavors? Then this job is for you! With these flexible overnight hours there is plenty of daytime to fulfill events in your personal schedule! The Awake Overnight reports directly to the Shift Supervisor and is a member of the agency team providing direction to the youth in our program.
The successful candidate will: Provide primary supervision to youth including bed checks, wake-up, and nighttime Attend mandatory trainings Utilize and implement behavior support techniques Model healthy boundaries and social skills within the program milieu Provide a safe and nurturing environment for youthThe Fall River Deaconess Home is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).The Fall River Deaconess Home is a private, non-profit, community-based agency serving youth and their families with a comprehensive continuum of residential, educational, clinical, medical, and supportive services. Our agency provides services in a trauma-informed environment designed to create a therapeutic environment to enrich the lives of youth from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
Confirmation of employment at Deaconess Home is contingent upon satisfactory completion of background checks, including CORI (Criminal Offenders Record Information), and DCF 51B Background Record Check (Child Abuse and Neglect).
Schedule:
4 consecutive 10-hour shifts from 10:00pm 8:00amWednesday - Saturday Wednesday all-staff agency meeting from 8:15am 10:00amQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredExperience in a relevant organization.Valid drivers licenseProven oral and written communication skills.
