Community Connections Inc. is looking for Developmental Specialists to join our Day Center team at locations throughout South Yarmouth, Wareham and Plymouth, MA. In this role you will support individuals with disabilities by providing direct support on a one to one basis. You will partner with Community Connections in their mission to provide optimal independence and enriching services to people with disabilities. Developmental Specialists:
Implement Day Habilitation Service Plan (DHSP) objectives Document individuals' progress towards DHSP objectives Assist individuals physically as necessary Ensure the health, safety, and general well being of the individual Provide and maintain community based habilitation/therapeutic experiences through social, recreational and volunteer opportunities, based on the individual's needs and wishes Transport the individual as assigned What You'll Need as a
Developmental Specialists:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) 1+ year's experience and/or training working with individuals with disabilities Valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record Acceptable criminal background check required Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to work independently Strong computer and word processing skills Who You Are as a
