Job Description:
Provide residents with routine daily care following established policies and procedures and as directed by the Staff Nurse, Nurse Manager, Director of Nursing Service, or the Administrator. Must ensure that the highest degree of quality care is always maintained.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalency preferred. Previous experience as PCA with good work history in similar facilities preferred. Training may be offered according to facility practices. Meets federal and state certification requirements. Ability to communicate in English effectively through verbal and written means. Ability to work under stress and in emergency situations. Understands principles of growth and development for the entire lifespan with the ability to provide care appropriate for adult and geriatric patients as appropriate to the patient population.
