This position is approximately 44 hours per month , with a schedule coordinated around appointments and other planned activities. Duties Assist with grocery shopping and other essential errands. Accompany the client to doctor's appointments and community events. Provide mobility assistance as needed while respecting the client's independence and preferences. ADL Maintain clear records of hours worked and work-related travel. Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated experience in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and implementing care plans. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts, heavy lifting techniques, manual handling skills, and patient transfer safety protocols is required. Proven ability to assist with ADLs including grooming, feeding, mobility support, and personal transportation assistance. Certification in CPR and first aid is necessary; additional certifications related to geriatrics or hospice care are advantageous. Experience supporting adults with mobility needs is preferred. Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance are required if driving the client. Ability to communicate respectfully, follow a support plan, and maintain confidentiality.

Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
