Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to track health status accurately Administer medications following prescribed schedules while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards Support clients with specialized care needs including Alzheimer's disease, dementia, hospice care, and memory care programs Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe living environment Document patient progress and medical records accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals with developmental disabilities or those in long-term care settings Skills Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health or behavior promptly Experience working in nursing homes, or home health environments Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to catheter care, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments CPR certification and CNA certification Excellent communication skills combined with a caring attitude to foster trust and rapport with clients and their families We are committed to providing paid positions that recognize your valuable contributions.
