Caregiver We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregiver/Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide quality support and care in Fort Washington, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be patient, reliable, and committed to helping individuals maintain independence, dignity, and an enhanced quality of life in both home and community settings. Responsibilities Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, grooming, dressing, and hygiene Support meal preparation and light housekeeping duties Administer or assist with medications as directed Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with community outings, recreational activities, and appointments Monitor and document client progress and daily activities Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the individual at all times Follow individualized care plans and behavioral support strategies Communicate effectively with family members, supervisors, and healthcare professionals Assist with transportation as needed These responsibilities align with common DSP and caregiver duties, including personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation assistance, medication support, and community engagement. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to lift, transfer, and assist individuals as needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Preferred CPR/First Aid Certification Medication Technician Certification Experience with behavioral support plans

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
