Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

Schedule:
Daytime Hours | Approximately 20 Hours Per Week Are you a compassionate, dependable Maryland Certified Medication Technician (CMT) looking for a rewarding opportunity where you can truly make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional/CMT to provide one-on-one support to a gentleman who uses a wheelchair. This role focuses on helping him remain active, engaged, and independent by assisting with daily activities and accompanying him on outings throughout the community. This is a flexible daytime position, with approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule can be arranged to fit both the client's needs and your availability.
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate one-on-one support. Assist with community outings, appointments, and recreational activities. Safely transport the client to and from community locations. Support independence while ensuring safety and dignity. Administer medications as needed in accordance with Maryland CMT certification requirements. Maintain professional communication and documentation.
Requirements:
Current Maryland Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification is required. Experience working as a Direct Support Professional or with individuals with developmental or physical disabilities is preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must own a large, reliable vehicle that can accommodate and transport a large wheelchair. Dependable, patient, compassionate, and professional. Ability to pass all required background screenings.
