Job Description
We are currently looking for dependable and flexible caregivers in Salisbury, MD to provide comprehensive care for an individual with developmental disabilities. The position requires availability on weekends, including all three shifts (7 AM
- 3 PM, 3 PM
- 11 PM, and 11 PM
- 7 AM). There is also an opportunity for 12-hour shifts on weekends (7 AM
- 7 PM and 7 PM
- 7 AM).
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including those with autism.
- Assist individuals with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills and relationships.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, social workers, and therapists to ensure the well-being of individuals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and individual progress.
