Role:

A Place At Home Towson is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join our growing team in Towson, MD. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need support to live comfortably and independently at home. If you have a heart for helping others, we'd love to have you on board!

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans Accompany clients to appointments and errands as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Home Care Aide, CNA, PCA, or caregiver preferred Genuine compassion and patience when working with elderly or disabled individuals Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed care plans CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
