Direct Support Professional (DSP)•
Part Time Compensation:
$25 per hour

Stockton Springs, ME & surrounding areas Family First Developmental Disability Solutions welcomes you to a workplace where hard work is rewarded , professional growth is supported , and your impact truly matters. As a Direct Support Professional , you'll provide meaningful one-on-one support to clients in their homes and communities. About the Role This position supports clients in a 1:1 ratio within their homes and local community. No overnight shifts required. A Gas Stipend is offered due to the rural service area. Fixed schedule, with opportunities for additional hours . This position requires a lot of driving /transporting the client to activities and home. The schedule is as follows : Monday

  • 5pm Wednesday
  • 12pm
  • 5pm Friday
  • 12pm to 5pm Opportunities exist for additional hours after hiring .
Benefits 401(k) with employer match Flexible schedule Health insurance (for full-time DSPs working 35+ hours/week) Mileage reimbursement Paid time off Paid training Professional development assistance Referral program Responsibilities Follow individualized support plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences Provide domestic support such as cooking, cleaning, medication assistance, scheduling/attending appointments, shopping, transportation, and housing management Support clients in accessing social activities and community resources Encourage community inclusion, attend events with clients, advocate for client needs, and provide transportation Ensure client health and safety at all times Collaborate with supervisors, families, and care team members Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with State of Maine regulations using the ClearCare/WellSky app Uphold professionalism, respect, and client-centered care Qualifications One year of DSP or CNA experience required High School Diploma or GED Minimum age: 18 Legally eligible to work in the U.S. Able to pass criminal, drug, and background checks Own a smartphone and be able to maintain online records Valid Driver's License, Social Security Card, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance Willing to obtain CPR, First Aid, and other required trainings Willing to obtain CDC-recommended immunizations for healthcare workers (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Seasonal Influenza)
