$1,500 Bonus!

PSL Services/STRIVE is looking for a motivated, organized individual to fill a part-time Life Skills Coach (Direct Support Professional) position in our Yarmouth STRIVE Bayside Program. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm. $1,500 Sign-on bonus for the successful applicant plus a $250 bonus if already DSP certified. The hours for this position in Yarmouth is Mondays-Fridays 9:00 am

1:00 pm.

Opportunities to make a full-time position for the successful applicant in other programs, if interested. The STRIVE Bayside Program of PSL Services/STRIVE is a unique program designed for adults with intellectual disabilities dedicated to expanding independent living skills and community connections. The day program is based in a 3-bedroom home in Yarmouth. The home, as well as the community, is used to work on independent living skills and navigating the community.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Drivers License and reliable vehicle Supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities on their life skill goals while maintaining a safe, comfortable and fun atmosphere Providing support in a community setting as well as at our program locations Participating in community activities with participants such as grocery shopping, community navigation, learning new recipes and cooking, etc. Building relationships with program participants and providing emotional support and crisis intervention when necessary No direct support experience required
