Ann Arbor | Weekend Home Health Aide (Ann Arbor, MI) this resource Right at Home, a leading In-Home Care & Assistance agency, is seeking to hire Skilled Caregivers and Home Health Aides to join a dynamic care team providing compassionate, personal in-home care. Responsibilities and Duties:
Personal hygiene AmbulationTransfers DressingShaving Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments. Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home Care Manager. These could include (but are not limited to): Medication reminders Assistance with home exercise programs Measuring and preparing special diets Understanding dementia care Incontinence care
Qualifications and Skills:
High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred Experience as a CaregiverHome Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities) Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job Possess a valid driver's license and insured automobile
