Duties Assist an individual with activities of daily living (ADLs) including meal preparation Support a client with Prader-Willi Syndrome by adhering to her food program and food security. Operate a standard passenger car safely to provide transportation for appointments, errands, or community outings Use effective communication skills to engage with the client, her family, and other program team members Collect data on client progress and document observations accurately for ongoing support planning Administer medications following prescribed protocols and ensure proper documentation of medication administration Facilitate social activities and community participation to enhance social skills and independence Skills Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders Strong understanding of behavior management techniques and client communication strategies Ability to operate a vehicle safely for personal transportation assistance or client outings Background in home and community care services, caregiving, or social services environments First aid and CPR certification to ensure safety during emergencies Excellent interpersonal skills for effective client communication and relationship building Experience with data collection, medication administration, and supporting clients with cognitive disabilities or intellectual disabilities support This role is ideal for compassionate individuals eager to support an individual in achieving greater independence while fostering a positive environment.
