Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caretaker to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in there home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in caretaking, with a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our client. This role requires a nurturing personality, patience, and the ability to work effectively with individuals of varying needs. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Assist with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Collaborate with nurses to develop and implement personalized care plans. Foster positive relationships with clients, families, and team members to ensure holistic care. Requirements Previous experience in patient care or as a caretaker in a group home or nursing home setting is preferred. Ability to provide compassionate support to individuals with varying abilities, including those on home-bound. Strong communication skills. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of others are essential traits for success in this role. Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations. Pay:
$16.33 - $17.00 per hour
