In this vital role, you will provide essential support to individuals with diverse needs, promoting their independence, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a comfortable, respectful environment for each patient you serve. We are currently in need of caregivers who can help with some of the following openings Temperance 9am-1pm or 5pm-9pm including every other weekend Temperance 8am-8pm Sunday-Tuesday or 8am-8pm Thursday-Saturday Temperance 8pm-8am Sunday-Tuesday or 8pm-8am Thursday-Saturday Responsibilities Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature using medical terminology and accurate documentation practices Support medication administration following home healthcare regulations and prescribed protocols Observe and report changes in patient condition through detailed medical documentation and communication with healthcare teams Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for patients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or those receiving hospice or end-of-life care Operate patient transfer methods safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other transfer techniques while adhering to patient care standards Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper handling of medical records and documentation Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, geriatrics, or in assisted living environments Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for patient transfer or mobility assistance Familiarity with home health care assistance, hospice care, dementia care, and memory care is highly desirable Some weekend availability.
