As a DSP you will be responsible for assisting with activities of daily living, medication administration, personal cares, meal preparation, and any other necessary job duties to meet the needs and improve the quality of life for the individuals we serve. DSP Responsibilities:
Personal care and housekeeping services Assist the residents with independent living skills Provide written and/or electronic communication Accompany residents to appointments , via van transport, when necessary.
DSP Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals. A demonstrated customer-service approach to work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to self-motivate and effectively manage time and shift priorities. Ability to e ffectively communicate with the resident. Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English in order to ensure accurate communication and documentation. Must pass a background check and meet other employment requirements.
