Advanced DSP:

1500 Hiring Bonus Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota 18.00 paid holidays, 403(b) United States, Minnesota, North St. Paul Sep 01, 2026

Description These homes support individuals who have higher health and support needs. Team members are trained to utilize medical equipment such as a nebulizers. oxygen, hoyer lift/track system and sit to stand as well as seizure disorders and protocols to follow. The individuals need full support in activities of daily living.

Pay:

Advanced DSP pays $18.00 an hour!

Upon completion of six months of consistent employment, there is an opportunity to obtain a wage increase up to $18.50 an hour.

Shifts:

S/S 11-7, T/Th 12-8, T/Th 12-8, F 3-8 As an Advanced Direct Support Professional (DSP) at LSS you will: Find purpose with our deep and meaningful work that has a person-centered approach to care.

Provide guidance and encouragement, while building purposeful relationships with your individuals.

Advocate for your individuals in all aspects of their life, including community engagement and support in essential living skills.

Advanced DSP:

The desire to help individuals with disabilities achieve their personal hopes and dreams through person centered care and support.

No education requirements

No previous experience required

Basic computer skills

Ability to read and write in English

A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check.

The ability to successfully pass a DHS background check. A career as a DSP is great for someone with experience as a Homemaker, PCA, Caregiver, Resident Assistant, or anyone with a passion to help others! A career as a DSP is also a great jumping off point for people looking to get into social work, nursing, healthcare, human services, psychology, and the non-profit sector.
