As an Administrative Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Home Care program by ensuring accurate records and providing essential administrative support. Your work will have a direct impact on the efficiency of our team and the quality of care delivered to our clients. Administrative Assistant Responsibilities Provide clerical assistance and support including, but not limited to, copy projects, answering phones, greeting customers and clients, paper and computer filing/processing, mail processing, faxing, office equipment details, and typing. Assist in completing productivity reports, reviewing visit completion, monitoring physician calls and orders, signature follow-up, data entry, and tracking and recording clinical/client information per direction. Assist clinical staff in the admission and ongoing data entry process including but not limited to chart setup/prep, client data entry, physician order follow-up, therapy documentation, and disassembling and filing of discharged client charts. Assist Director of Home Care Services with data entry and client maintenance for Electronic Visit Verification System (EVV/HHA exchange). Assist with client scheduling as needed or directed. Organizes, inventories, and orders supplies as directed. Coordinate care conferences as requested by RN. Assist with auditing charts and/or QI/QA processing projects. Assist with activation of community emergency response system. Maintain medical record destruction logs and assist with the destruction of clinical records according to policy. Experience with health care, insurance verification, and insurance authorization preferred. Must have post-secondary business-related education and/or experience in a business office environment. Proficient computer, data entry, and typing skills required. Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programs. Strong professional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate both in written and verbal form in English. Must be detail oriented, thorough, and accurate. Self-directed. Good organization skills. Must have good customer service skills.
