Position Summary The Senior Support Specialist is a salaried position responsible for providing direct support and leadership within the ISL program while also providing training and support across the agency. The Senior Support Specialist will be scheduled to work in the ISL at least two days per week and will provide additional program and training support as needed. Responsibilities at ISL Work a minimum of two scheduled shifts per week in the ISL. Provide direct support to individuals served. Provide coverage for open shifts and staffing needs as needed. Attend medical appointments. Complete grocery and household shopping. Support DSPs with questions, concerns, and individual-specific needs Assist with scheduling for DSPs. Assist with staff orientation and training within the home. Help ensure staff are following individual support plans and agency expectations. Communicate concerns, needs, and changes within the home to management. Assist with other day-to-day needs of the ISL. Training Provide MANDT training as needed. Provide CPR/First Aid training as needed. Provide agency orientation and required agency trainings. Train DSPs, Host Home Providers, and other applicable team members. Provide additional training or retraining when needed. Maintain required instructor certifications. The Momentum Project will assist the selected candidate with obtaining MANDT and CPR instructor certifications if they do not already have them. Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Experience training, coaching, or supporting staff Flexibility to provide coverage and program support as needed. Willingness to become a certified MANDT and CPR instructor. Must meet agency requirements for providing direct support. Compensation Full-time salaried position with annual compensation.
