Job Summary Our dedicated team is seeking a compassionate and dedicated IDD Day Program W orker to join our adult day habilitation program. In this role, you will provide person-centered support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) enrolled in the Medicaid IDD Waiver program. Your daily focus will be helping participants build independence, master adaptive life skills, engage in community-based activities, and take part in meaningful social and recreational group sessions.

Key Responsibilities Skill Development:

Facilitate daily group and individual sessions focusing on adaptive behaviors, communication, money management, self-care, and social interaction.

Plan Implementation:

Follow and document individual support plans (ASPs) and waiver-mandated day habilitation goals for assigned participants.

Community Integration:

Supervise and assist clients during scheduled community outings, volunteer tasks, and recreational events.

Personal Care Support:

Provide respectful, hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene, grooming, and feeding as needed.

Accurate Documentation:

Complete daily attendance logs, progress notes, and incident reports thoroughly and submit them on time using documents that are provided.

Client Safety:

Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment within the day program facility and watch for potential health hazards.

Qualifications & Requirements Age:

Must be at least 18 years old.

Education:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (preferred, but paid orientation and training are provided).

Certifications:

Valid CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Driving Record:

Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record to transport clients in company vans when necessary.

Screenings:

Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening per state IDD waiver regulations.

Pay:

$13.00 - $13.50 per hour
