  • Thursday, 9:00 AM
  • 3:00 PM and Friday 9:00 AM
  • 12:00 PM 28 hours per week

Day Program / Community Position Overview A Caring Heart Case Management, Inc. is dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to live fulfilling, independent lives. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and reliable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team and make a meaningful impact on the daily life of an individual in our Greenville programs. In this role, you will provide individualized support, encourage personal growth, and foster skill development in both community and employment settings, helping our clients thrive with dignity and confidence. Key Responsibilities Provide person-centered support to an individual with IDD, focusing on skill development, community engagement, and independence. Promote personal growth and confidence by encouraging participation in daily routines and life skills. Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment that aligns with our mission. Collaborate and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care. Qualifications 3+ years of Unsupervised Driving Valid Driver's License Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) required Experience supporting individuals with mental health issues is a plus Ability to Lift/Push/Pull 25 pounds unassisted on a regular basis and up to 100 pounds occasionally High school diploma or GED minimum Strong compassion, patience, and reliability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Dedication to promoting independence, inclusion, and dignity for every individual Why Join Us At A Caring Heart Case Management, Inc., we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive . Also describe your experience working in a residential setting. Please include organizations that you worked for, volunteered for, and/or personal experience that you have. Are you comfortable assisting individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) after receiving training? These tasks may include but are not limited to: Personal Care, Mobility Support, Meal Preparation & Feeding, Toileting & Continence Care, and/or Household Tasks. Would you be comfortable performing these essential duties as part of your role? Please respond "Yes" or "No". Are you able to physically push, pull, or lift 25 pounds, unassisted, on a regular basis and up to 100 pounds unassisted occasionally? Please respond "Yes" or "No".
