Greenville, NC Job Details Part-time $17 - $22 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Experience working with individuals with disabilities Patient transfer methods High school diploma or GED Driver's License Driving Human Services Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dependable, caring, and engaging individual to work one-on-one with a young adult with cerebral palsy, blindness, and limited mobility . We are looking for someone who is patient, dependable, compassionate, and interested in building a consistent one-on-one relationship while helping make each day engaging, productive, and enjoyable. Preferred Experience Experience or education in special education, disabilities, healthcare, therapy, nursing/CNA, psychology, social work, or human services is preferred but not required. College students, recent graduates, educators, paraprofessionals, and individuals with direct-support experience are encouraged to apply. Duties Provide one-on-one support and supervision Assist with educational, developmental, and daily activities Encourage participation, independence, and engagement Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers as needed Participate in activities in the home and community Provide a safe, positive, and supportive environment Requirements Minimum Requirements High school diploma Current, valid driver's license Background check required Ability to safely assist with transfers and lift/support up to approximately 100 lbs.
Pay:
$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
