HOME CARE OPERATIONS SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
Job Description:
Assist in performing receptionist duties. Assist in managing incoming and outgoing mail. Process and enter daily reports of visits, flow notes, and medical supplies. Establish and maintain client medical records in accordance with agency policy and procedure. Order, receive, and stock medical supplies and maintain inventory control in accordance with established agency policy and procedure. Assist in performing cross-training. Implement infection and exposure control measures in accordance with the agency exposure control plan. Perform miscellaneous clerical functions in an accurate and timely manner.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of general office experience and data entry experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Excellent interpersonal skills and knowledge of telephone etiquette. Ability to communicate clearly, using good grammar. Strong computer skills to include working knowledge of most commonly use software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Ability to type 45 to 50 WPM and proficiency with a 10-key calculator. Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
