Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
• Create a safe and supportive environment for individuals under your care
• Engage in meaningful activities and social interactions with individuals to promote their well-being
• Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor
• Drive individuals to appointments, outings, or other scheduled activities as needed

Skills:

• Experience in childcare, working with people with developmental disabilities, or patient care is preferred
• Strong direct support skills and the ability to provide compassionate care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with individuals and their families
• Basic first aid knowledge to handle emergencies or medical situations
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in meal preparation and dietary restrictions
