Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, personal care, and ensure the well-being of our clients.Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including home care or hospice care
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals (if licensed Med Tech)
- Monitor and record vital signs to ensure the health and safety of clients
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary
Skills:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Experience in nursing or direct patient care is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with hospice care practices and principles
- Proficient in vital sign monitoring
- Ability to provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
